A select group of 47 youthful innovators have received Business Development training to enable them to advance their innovations. Facilitated by UIPE, ILA and the Royal Academy of Scotland, the training was conducted from the 11th - 13th September 2024 at the Eureka Place Hotel in Ntinda.
The training covered key BDS areas including Product Design and Development, Business Modelling, Quality Management and Product Certification, Intellectual Property Management and Raising Capital. The trainers included David Tusubira, Co-founder of Innovex Ltd, Aijuka Edmund, Founder of Kamata Online Protection Services Ltd, Patrick Joram Mugisha, Managing Partner at Innovent Labs Africa, and Anatoli Kirigwajjo, Founder of Yunga Technologies.
